All Is Lost (2013)

It takes a great actor to carry a film with virtually no dialog and without any supporting cast, and Robert Redford sure enough fits that bill and delivers a stellar performance as a man who has to fight for survival after his sailing boat gets damaged and he is unable to call for help. The resourcefulness and despair that he shows throughout the movie is very intense and marvelous to watch.
