Two Days, One Night (2014)

While the subject matter was were dear and near my heart, for some reason the movie just didn’t really click with me. Entirely watchable, but not that compelling. Maybe it’s that the movie doesn’t do the typical and cheap appeal to your feelings in an overtly dramatic splashy way  that most Hollywood movies would approach the subject , and prefers to be more low key and realistic. I did appreciate how real everyone felt, there weren’t really cartoonish evil, greedy assholes, just about everyone involved were people who needed the bonus so bad that they had to vote the way they did or felt rightfully entitled to it.
