Virunga (2014)

Civil war, corruption, cute monkeys and endorsement for the continued support of national parks, that’s a pretty unique mix of ingredients for documentary film. I had never heard of Virunga before, but the film sure did get me to care about environmental issues and Virunga’s personal struggle to keep the sanctity of the wild life preserve protected from Oil companies wanting to drill there. I also kinda wish to visit the park some time, it looks gorgeous.
