Not surprisingly, this ended up being very similar to the creator’s previous South Park movie: the plot is amusing, but in the end not really that interesting, and the best part is easily the songs, which were brilliant. It is funny, but it’s the funny the way South Park is funny. You will laugh and appreciate the best parts of the over the top satire, but it never really gets you to a point where you are gasping for breath. It’s just mildly amusing and when you’re done with it, you move on. Move on while humming those damn catchy songs. That said, you haver to give credit where credit is due: making a puppet movie at this day and age and then do full-on full frontal puppet sex scene, that is movie magic right there, baby.
