Haute Cuisine (2012)

God, this movie was so delicious to look at. Despite the meals being supposedly homely, the dishes still looked so intricate and heavenly, but that’s French cuisine for you, I guess. I didn’t really think the framing sequence on the Antarctica movie was necessary, though you did get some more intricate character development from it. Other than that, it was pretty decent. It was also refreshing to see that the apparent antagonism with the main kitchen was kept so subtle and the focus was firmly on preparing the food.

Damn, now I’m hungry again.
